Miss Alise
Occupational Therapist
Alise completed her bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a Minor in Psychology of Human Development from Ball State University. She attended Huntington University for graduate school where she earned her doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). She is currently OTD and licensed as OTR/L in Indiana.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out and staying active, and spending as much time as she can doing things outside in the sun! She absolutely loves coffee and you can likely find her exploring new and old coffee shops! Her happy place is at the beach where she can relax and enjoy time by the water and in the sun!
A fun fact about Alise is that her eyes are different colors… one has a lot more brown in it! Some days it’s easier to notice than others!
Alise became a pediatric OT because as the oldest of 8 children, she learned a lot about patience, nurturing, responsibility, organization skills, and being a leader. She quickly discovered her passion for working with children and the love she had for occupational therapy and all that it encompasses. Her goal as a pediatric occupational therapist is to serve children and help them grow and become independent through play and meaningful everyday activities. She plans to work side by side with these children so that they can achieve their goals and grow their confidence and excitement for life in every single therapy session!
